Colorfully Long Road

Guten abend everyone! (that means good evening) I don't have tons to blog about but I will probably find you some good quotes =]
Let's see, today was a good day generally. A. wasn't in school =[ But I had a very fun open period. My friends and I painted our nails. Yes, in school. In the middle of the day. It was quite amusing. Mine (my nails) are bring pink and yellow. They're very intense. Intense colors are fabulous though yay yay yay.

I also finished a writing piece for a prompt today. I wrote it about my RSD journey. The prompt was to write about something that the outcome wasn't what you expected. I definitely did notexpect to be where I am today. I've had an incurable disease for nearly three years. And am just being evaluated for the only treatment that may bring remission, in 2 weeks. OMG. It's been a long road and the end isn't in site...

Wow. I don't feel like get all serious and gushy, but it's just so so so crazy to think about. So i'll find some quotes for you all! =]

"No price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." Friedrich Nietzsche

"Sometimes people are layered like that. There's something totally different underneath than what's on the surface. But sometimes, there's a third, even deeper level, and that one is the same as the top surface one. Like with pie." Joss Whedon, Zack Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, and Jed Whedon, Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, 2008

"America is one of the finest countries anyone ever stole." Bobcat Goldthwaite

"We all have a few failures under our belts. It's what makes us ready for successes." Randy K. Milholland Midnight Macabre 10-18-05

"There is no mistaking a real book when one meets it. It's like falling in love."Christopher Morley

"Don't fall before you're pushed." English Proverb

"Each body has its art..." Gwendolyn Brooks

"Laugh at yourself first, before anyone else can." Elsa Maxwell

Quotes Keep Me Going...

Yea that's so sad but true. The things my friends say really are just so incredibly awesome and/or odd that I can't be down forever. Although I am rather "blah" this evening because I got the news. I'm going for my eval. in 16 days. That's all. That soon! It's before homecoming! It's before the baby project. It's before N.'s b-day and getting my braces off. It's really really soon and I'm so scared. It's just another chapter in my autofightbio I guess, if you look at it in those terms. You know, I realized. The first full year of having RSD we took like no pictures of me. That makes me really sad it's like a whole year of my life that I will never forget but never have pictures of the good times either. It's so weird. There's not a single picture of me in a wheelchair and that was like months of my life. Don't get me wrong, it was not happy months but still it seems like they would be at least a couple. Same with the crutches that was nearly a year in total much more...and there's only very few pictures of me on them... it's so strange. But onto happy things. The things that keep me going. Quotes. All today's quotes are things my friends or I have said. I'm going to explain some of the more "meaningful ones" and let you wonder about the silly ones. For those I know that read this you'll know what the silly ones mean anyways. tehehhehe. I'm going to divide them up. Silly first and then meaningful. THERE ARE TONS. I'm only putting up some mind you...and this post is going to be super long.

"I'll carry you off the threshold Robin!" --AP

"I'll like throw on my superhero costume and run out on my patio, screaming "UP UP AND AWAY!" and I'll fly to your house and pick you up and carry you to safety." --CT, it's so meaningful yet such a silly image...

"Wow you is way the f*** out in left field" --NS
"Nah, I prefer right field." --Me

"You need to work on the awwws and not doing them." --JL, what can I say, he says a lot of cute things!

"I love when people die." --NS, it sounds terrible. but it's so typical him that it just wow... haha.

"M. stop throwing your leg over mine and rubbing!" --ALe

"Angry sex kills vaginas!" --MH, sorry for the weird and disturbingness...but it's her trademark quote...

"POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS!!!" --CT, intense game of "charoodles"

"LOUD it's awesome. It's like sexy time for your ears." --NS

"Woa, you guys were all like stuff and then not stuff." --NS

"[to her brother] it's the US gov't should I answer it?"--AP
"No." --AP (the brother)

I'm having a brain cramp on the silly ones which is soooo not like me there are hundreds daily, but I have lots of meaningful ones in mind das ist warum (that is why) So here we go.

I'm going to get this one over with I know it will raise questions, my friends can ask me if they must. But a guy who liked me said this to me (they're lyrics) with my initial added to the beginning and end it just made me awwww.
"r So brown eyes I hold you near. Cause you're the only song I want to hear. A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere. Where soul meets body. r"

"Life doesn't come with a road map which shows what's ahead or lays out all the paths it [life] can take." --Me

"Despite having RSD, you seem to have a pretty good time." --JL

"I pray for you my love." --AP

It's also just nice being told you're missed and that you're special and that someone wishes they could be with you. Only happened once and I won't name names. But it felt so great to have someone care so much, about ME.

I can't even finish these. Looking at all the quotes and thinking about people I haven't in a while has gotten me all like WOA. So I'll blog you later. Sorry for excluding tons of good quotes. Especially those of CT and NS and AP I know there are tons but I can't focus. I perhaps will add more l8r. It's hard to find the direct stuff. Especially when I got to thinking about people I haven't and blah blah blah.

BLOG YOU L8R!!!

=\

I can't even think of a good title. I'm just very blah. I'm going to whine and I'm sorry but I'm having a rough day. Despite a great day and a half with A. my weekend technically began abdly and is ending not so great either. Thanks to none other than RSD. The call we got/didn't get from Boston really upset me on Friday and today I'm having a flare thanks to rain and stress. I'm also feeling sick, I have a stuffy nose and such so it's been a very blah day. I slept a lot but still don't feel much better. My foot isn't as bad as last rain storm but still not great. Writing on my autofightbio didn't help. It stresses me out, but I figured there were people it will make aware and people who want to know these things. Friends who care. =] So I wrote. It's really hard for me to write because it's reminding how good I am doing and I realize how much I take it for granted. I mean honestly RSD still really messes my life up. It's making it so I can't go on a trip I really want to go on and the whole not knowing if I'm going for treatment is holding me back too. I can't wait to see if they think I'm "bad enough" for their treatment. That will be like my deciding thing. Like it's sounds dumb and is dumb but true. I'm trying to look forward to the good times before that. I get my braces off on the 21st of October. Which is also N.'s b-day for which I bought him a sweatshirt so I don't have to see the ugly one as often. the day after that I am starting my "realcarebaby" project where we care for electronic babies for 5 days. That's going to be super stressful but my friends are excited... Also this coming weekend I'm going to camp. That always helps me. It's so peaceful there. It's going to be super cold but i don't care. I'll being snuggy clothing. I love the air up there. It's so fresh. I love the middle of nowhere!!! yay. And I'll get some quotes so I end on a happy ♪ <-- get it?! happy note! tehhehee

"Good ideas are not adopted automatically. They must be driven into practice with corageous patience." Hyman Rickover

"An once of action is worth a ton of theory." Friedrich Engels

"You can go a long way with a smile. You can go a lot further with a smile and a gun." Al Capone

My Journey..Continued

I added on to my autofightbio and am naturally going to share it. I'm posting it now and then going to post some more about it and like a regular blog post after. It's very long again and certainly won't fit along with quotes and all I have ramble on about. So enjoy and I'll blog you soon!

I go home all excited, keen on getting better and certain I will. My mom is making spaghetti…I can’t walk but am in a good mood. I’m confident that I am on my way to recovery. I’m on my way…but I’m not sure as though recovery is the proper word for where I was headed.
I begin attending pool therapy appointments but all the while things are not improving. It’s getting harder and harder to survive school. I crutch around trying to explain what’s wrong with me, when no one is really sure. I strongly remember getting bumped in the hallway falling, putting weight on my foot and crying out. It was rough, trying to stay focused when the pain was so intense it overpowered my thoughts. I tried, and my grades didn’t suffer, but definitely weren’t up to my average. This didn’t bother me so much. I was too focused on what was going on outside of school. I had to have tests I’ve never before heard of and attend pool therapy which was unbearable. The water scalded my skin it was cold and purple and when the 80 degree water hit it, it wasn’t pleasant. In fact the color change in my foot wasn’t only concerning to me. After my first few pool appointments I went to see Erika, my regular PT again. She was so concerned at its temperature, she sent me to get it checked out right away. She thought I may have a blood clot or something else abnormal…with so much PT and exercise from crutches my whole body should have been sweaty and warm. My foot was far from it. it was freezing to nearly numb, cold and clammy. I had to go to the ER and I was terrified. I was also, slowing wearing out.
We had to trek from the PT office to my doctor’s office. Erika suggested we try there first, because it’s much keeper than the ER. It’s freezing outside, my hands feel like icicles and my tummy feels sick from being sweaty out in the cold. I crutch along my muscles twitching as they exude the force it takes to lift me and my purple, abnormally cold limb. Finally we enter the warmth of the doctor’s office. We go and tell the receptionist our situation, and make our way down the dark hallway to pediatrics. We are not pleased by what we find. The room is filled, nearly every chair. There’s coughing children, crying babies and less than amused parents. I’m less than amused. I just crutched down a hill and across a street to get here and now we had to turn around and go back to the ER. This worried me. I’d never been to the ER before.
The pro side to this situation is that my dad realizes me crutching back across the street and uphill this time is going to be a massive tasks. We go out to the receptionist desk and he asks if there’s anyway we could get transportation. By some strange coincidence there is. My town is much less than practical but, they do have a shuttle from the hospital to the clinic. Hooray! When I think shuttle I’m expecting a like van or bus. Nope, it’s the security car. We pull up to main entrance of the hospital in the security car. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful for the ride, but it probably looked a little strange. I guess now that I look back I shouldn’t have been concerned with that aspect at all. We crutch inside. There is a piano which plays automatically. The keys move even! It’s very amusing, but unfortunately I don’t get to stay and watch it. We need to find our way to the ER. The receptionist seems overly perky considering she’s in a hospital. She hollers at us and asks if I’d like a wheelchair. My dad turns to me, asking me with his eyes. I tell him No. Why… pride? Really I’m not sure. I wish I’d said yes. It would have been way simpler than crutching up ramps and around corners and in and out of elevators. Somehow, we find our way to the emergency department. Of course, it is as just as full as the doctor’s office, but the ER doesn’t close. I’m terrified now. I’m sure my eyes must have been leaking tears. I really did not want to be there. I had no idea what to expect. My dad seemed overly calm, but it was not helping me one bit.
After filling out papers and sitting in a wheelchair because they forced me to… we get called into triage. They ask tons of questions. There’s not much we can tell them. We still don’t know what is wrong with my foot we just know it shouldn’t be how it is. They take history and vital signs. I hate having my blood pressure taken, it urks me. You see, I didn’t know that getting your normal blood pressure taken is really a piece of cake compared to the weird things that would happen in the coming hours.
It’s kind of a blur really, all the events along this journey but I do know when I was in the ER I heard a lot of interesting people…and waited a very long time. I got taken into a bed and for long periods of time they did nothing. I was growing hungrier by this time. The PT appointment was around 4 o’clock if I remember correctly so we were there all through dinner and into the night. We didn’t leave the ER until around 10 at night. They ran tests. Weird tests. I don’t remember what order they were in but I remember all the test and events clearly. All gave no significant results, but we spent the money on them. So I’ll share.
One called a Doppler, which made me think of Doppler radar, like for the weather. I guess that makes sense seems how temperature deals with weather…but it was really like an ultrasound. They took that blue gooey stuff and put it on my foot. I’ve always heard that that stuff is really cold, but to me it felt warm, that’s just how cold my foot was. They then took a little pen like thing attached to a speaker…or this is how I see it. They broadcasted the sounds of my blood in my foot to the whole ER, basically. It was loud. This is good. This means that there was moving blood in it. Off course they couldn’t just do one thing and be done with it. So we sat around and waited.
They also gave me an EKG. This is for my heart. I mean sure, blood flow deals with your heart, but really I think it was just another money waster. If I’d had any real trouble they probably would have been come other symptoms by now, I’d assume. They did it anyways. Stupid super sticky electrode things were stuck to my chest and hooked up to a machine which printed out those up and down lines which told them, guess what?! My heart was just fine. Then I had to get the dumb stickies off. Which was very tricky and it hurt quite a great deal. Nothing compared to my foot which was being touched and poked and prodded making it feel like gasoline had been poured on it and lit on fire.
Another test they did was my blood pressure. I know I already mentioned blood pressure but this was much worse. They took it on the big veins on MY HIPS. Yes they slid huge blood pressure sleeve things up my legs to the top of my thighs. It was so incredibly painful. It made me twist and cringe and tear. Turns out, it was fine, imagine that.
I hope you are getting the sense that no one really had any idea what was going on. They really didn’t, including me. I was sent home that night, hungry, with a lavender foot which felt as though it belonged on a dead body and no answers. Oh joy.
The only one who had hit on the right thing so far was someone who wasn’t a doctor. My PT. She’d mentioned when I first went that’d they’d be looking into RSD. We didn’t know what this was and weren’t concerned. I was technically being treated for it, that’s why she was so urgent with pool therapy, but we didn’t know that. She wasn’t the doctor. We were still listening to doctors, stupid us. Next stop was the podiatrist. He brought RSD and this time it was getting more serious. He didn’t just bring it up. He thought it really could be it. He told us it wasn’t plantar fasciitis. This guy was very tall, nice but kind of strange. He had dark hair and a semi-receding hairline. He was young and not very confident in his skills; he told us things but always wanted to be sure there was something else he could do to make sure he was right. Over my course of seeing him these ideas were reinforced. Not to get off track. The first visit he said No plantar fasciitis, possible RSD, need a bone scan. It was back to the hospital.
By now there were thick calluses on my sides, which burned when in contact with water. My foot too hated anything touching it. It was freezing and felt like fire was burning it or it had an irritating ache that was from far within. It drove me insane and everyone was just taking there sweet time figuring out what was up. School was living hell. Kids of course didn’t believe me and neither did teachers. Why should they, I had no idea what was going on. They thought it was me abusing my “privileges” to the elevator and help form others. Really I was very very sick of the “help.” I hated not being able to do things when I wanted and how I wanted. I hated taking my friends out of classes to help me, causing a scene. I didn’t like having to wait at the top of the stairs for an elevator which exited far away from all my lower level classes. I couldn’t hold up this way much longer. It was a big downward spiral spinning out of control, eventually into a wheelchair.

Dance in the Rain

Hello all--- I apologize for not blogging yesterday. it was a really bad day that turned good. the thing is, rain. Rain rain rain. And the dumb lady who makes the evaluation appointments in Boston. Rain=Pain you see. So I was kinda just blah. And then I got all upset during lunch time when I found out my dad wouldn't call Boston and see what was going on and why we hadn't heard from the lady. Then it all turned around. A. invited me over her house. Oh and boy did we have a blast. It's so true "it's not about waiting for the storm to pass it's about learning to dance in the rain." I did just that. A. and I did tons of dancing and I loved it so so so much. I slept over there and we talked and talked like a talk to no one else. It was just simply amazing. I found out that the lady called...the house and my mom doesn't know what's going on, so she was told to call my dad. And she didn't. so that was a little frustrating, but I had so much fun dancing and feeling "normal" despite our silly quirks and my throbbing knee and foot. I managed. And boy oh boy was it a blast!

Have a good night and rest of the weekend my loves. Perhaps I shall blog you something tomorrow.

Neuer Junge

The title means new boy. I have a new perspective on high school relationships...or at least I am reexamining what I want. Also there is a new guy I kinda maybe have a crush on. His initials aren't going up here. And don't ask me. I won't tell you. But it's refreshing having something new besides ole' N. Who is great great great like awesome friend. Haha. And also in a happy relationship. The thing is I don't know as though that would ever work anyways we're too much like brother and sister. But hey I go back and fourth on how I feel about this all the time. but this post is NOT about N. it's about new things. New people. I've decided to discuss this because of A. discussing her taste in guys in one of her recent posts.

Anyways. Lately I've been going through a lot and boy oh boy do I have great friends. I love my friends they are amazing. They comfort me and listen to me go on and on. But you know I realized thanks to a number of things that maybe I'm not as against high school relationships as I have previously stated. I mean I've never been totally against them but I just feel like it's really really hard to find love in high school. You do not know who you are yet. Well. It doesn't have to have anything to do with love. Yet it doesn't have to be super casual. I'm thinking you should go into a relationship open minded and just see where it goes. You need to spend time with a person outside of a school setting, talk a lot and just have a good relationship. I mean I think it's just an amazing feeling to have someone truly care about you. I am sooo independent... as I've said...but it's just great to have someone truly like you for you. I think I'd like to have that. this doesn't mean I'm going searching for it. It shouldn't be forced. But it should happen for the experience at some point. I really hope it does. I think that just having someone there that kinda really likes you for you and will make you stronger is good. And of course. I'm big on hugs =]

I love adorable things. I'm so like tough and sarcastic and serious on the outside a lot. I have very strong and harsh opinions. I have always acted like I'm better than "those people" that date in high school and chase people around and blah blah blah. This girl in my German class calls me angry and mean. I think others view me that way too. It's hard because I'm not that way at all. School changes me and that's why maybe connecting with others is hard for me. There is too much drama and stress for anything really good to happen in a school setting. In my opinion. Also I was talking to J. and we were talking about hand holding. You see I may act like ah you are all so dumb. But really I find such displays of affection adorable. It's so frickin' cute and personally for like a starting relationship I bet it's fun. I'd really like to experience these things... I just don't go around whining about it. I awww a lot at people it's just sometimes I don't say it. I don't want to come off as wimpy or too girly, that's always bothered me. I'm a good mixture of girly and tomboyish I think. But anyways. N. said that I wouldn't like a hand to hold. That hurt me. It's so untrue. Do I really act that way. All in all I do want a hand to hold. It's just the opportunity for these things to happen has not brought itself to me yet. *shrug*

So. To directly follow up on A.'s post. My taste. I don't really have a type persay. They have to be smart though. they have to like that I am smart as well. They don't have to be super confident but it's a plus (but not arrogance). But I deff. want a guy that can hold his own. That's tough. But still cares. haha. good luck with this, right? haha. Well. But perhaps someday, I'll find someone who feels like me as I do.

And now I'm going to give you some quotes !
Today in English we were examining how punctuation can change things. Here's two sentences. Exact same words.

A woman, without her man, is nothing.

A woman: without her, man is nothing.

I personally like the 2nd one ;)

others...

"If you want peace, stop fighting. If you want peace of mind, stop fighting with your thoughts."
--Peter McWilliams

"When we ask for advice, we are usually looking for an accomplice." --Marquis de la Grange

Just those for today :)

Unique-ness Is a Virtue

I am who I am. No one is changing me. My environment may shape me but I decide how. I don't feel the need to conform to what normal or "the right thing" is. I'm me babe take it or leave it. I don't need to be cool or popular. I don't want to be cool or popular. I stand up for my beliefs whether they are in the majority or not. I am who I am.

And now for some quotes!

"Creativity is a drug I cannot live without." Cecil B. DeMille

"One's first love is always perfect until one meet's one's second love." Elizabeth Aston

"Maybe kissing is sort of like nature's coffee." Scott Westerfield

"It is better to sleep on things beforehand than lie awake about them afterward." Baltasar Gracian

"Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead." Charles Bukowski

I realize now this was probably a repetitive post... like the charity inspiration one. But oh well. the message needs to be drilled into the minds of my friends and other individuals. So there. BE YOURSELF.
Why firework? Every firework is unique.

On a Roll... Longest Post Yet?

Well I was going to just post part of my autofightbio (my new name for it. it’s a biography of me fighting RSD, so clever I know. Haha.) But I’ve decided to post all of what I have so far. Be forewarned, it’s got errors and it’s not all that great, but it’s the basic framework.

The Journey of a Girl

This is the story of a girl. A girl I know quite well. I’ve been right there through all her struggles and the changes that have made her who she is today. She’s still learning growing and changing. She’s still dealing. She’s still fighting. She’s a fighter. This is the story of a girl and that girl is me. I hope you are inspired by my story or at least take something away from it. There are parts, which you may not believe, but this is a completely true account of my journey; life is crazy sometimes.

Well there’s not too much notable about me. Well not before seventh grade. I was born. I learned to walk and talk. I learned to read and loved the arts. Birthdays came and went. I got older and became the girl that I was supposed to. I behaved, got good grades and was well on my way.
Then seventh grade came. I went into it like any other feeling very confused about who I was. I made great new friends. There were arguments with these new friends, but nothing too tragic was happening. I had a couple teachers I absolutely hated. They didn’t understand how hard I worked and that all I wanted to do was please them. One of them was my math teacher. It was the first time in math I wasn’t the star student; it was really frustrating to me. I mean I didn’t need perfection; I just wanted to do well; I knew I could, but it wasn’t my fault this wasn’t so. This teacher’s style was not meshing with mine, or anyone else’s for that matter. I bet you could ask anyone who was in my class that year and they’d tell you, she was horrible. She was too sarcastic and too blunt. She just read stuff off and didn’t describe anything. I mean, we were the higher level student’s but hello, it’s seventh grade. Of course no one questioned her, because if you did you were in for it.
I see her now from time to time and she acts all nicey nice and like I was the best student she ever had. Well maybe I was, but she certainly didn’t let on, at the time. She made that year so much harder for me. I honestly think that she just feels bad, because of what happened and maybe she realizes what a bitch she was… hopefully.
The there was my English teacher. I mean nothing bad about her teaching it was just hard to handle her sometimes. She treated me well. She was nothing like my math teacher, well actually similar at times, but when it came to me anyways. She didn’t have an issue with me and I learned a lot, but she was just kind of angry, at all seventh graders she’d been given to teach. Honestly, I see why. We weren’t the best of the bunch…
Okay, enough about teachers, well no, actually I take that back. The other two were a little nutty. They weren’t exactly traditional. I think they were both a little cracked…
Back to this eventful journey I am embarking on. Okay, up to this point nothing too extraordinary has occurred. I agree. Average stress of being in seventh grade, dealing with bad teachers and the drama that girls of that age face, nothing special. Well then there was October 29th, 2005. It doesn’t stand out in your mind? Well it most certainly does in mine.
I got home from school (I believe it was a Friday?) and of course was probably all grumpy and giving attitude to my parents, but I really don’t remember. Then I got the news. We’d be going on a haunted hay ride that night with my grandparent’s and my little cousin who lives with them. I was ecstatic! I was getting out of the house, avoiding homework and going to have a fun time.

We arrived at the sugaring/pancake house just as dusk was falling. The sun had dipped below the horizon and everything was covered by a blanket of darkness. We stood in line waiting for the hay wagon to pull up, taking in the warm donut aromas and feeling the cool fall air on our skin. It was my father, mother, sister, grandpa, gram, and little cousin plus me. We all carefully walked across the hay bails into the wagon and sat down. I was sitting near my gram and Stephanie, my cousin. The trailer lurched forward as the man in the tractor shifts the tractor into gear. We move straight forward, slightly up hill, around a corner into the depths of the woods. There are surprises around every corner, spooky things including men jumping out and hanging on the cage surrounding us. It is enjoyable, a perfect Halloween haunted hay ride. The wagon clunks to a halt and we all rise to get out. My mother falls on the hay balls in front of me. I worry about her, hoping she isn’t seriously hurt, but move along to keep the flow of people unloading moving. I jump to the ground and am greeted by an unusually sore foot. It aches, and feels like I’ve walked hundreds of miles. We stay to walk around and eat food, but I can’t focus on having fun anymore. The pain is worsening. I am racking my brain to try and think of why it hurts. I tell my dad, and he just tells me it will be better by morning, it’s probably just the rough terrain and all the walking. I’m like yea, I knew that and wait for the ride home.

The next morning I get up ready for an exciting Saturday, but as I place my feet on the plush carpet and begin applying weight threw my legs, my plans are wrecked. My foot isn’t any better. In fact it’s worse. I call my grandmother, she and I often share ailments and ask her what she thinks it could be. I tell her it’s in the ball of my foot and it’s really bad. She tells me to wait it out and stay off it. She’s coming on Monday to our house, and tells me if it doesn’t get better she’ll bring me to the doctors.

It definitely doesn’t get better. Somehow I survive a day of school without people noticing, but then we go to walk around Walmart. I’m dragging behind, it’s extreme. When I get home I have to crawl around. The tears are constantly welling in my eyes. I decide I have to go to the doctors even though I don’t want to.

My mother and I sit in the doctors waiting room. We are eventually called in by a nurse. They check my weight and ask about my symptoms. What I want to know is why the heck my foot hurts. The doctor comes in one I’ve never seen before. She checks it over. It makes tears roll down my cheeks as she examines and tries to move it. She finally gives her diagnoses. Plantar Facscittis. I can’t comprehend such a big word. My mother and I ask about what it is. She explains it’s the tightening of the foot muscle. She asks if I want crutches. I debate. I know I’ve been crawling, but I figure, she’s giving me exercises to make it better, and it’s really not worth it. I figure if I needed them she wouldn’t ask she’d give them to me.

I start the exercises. They’re excruciating. The next day I end up back at the doctors for crutches. I can’t walk. Tears are becoming more and more frequent. At school there are questions and I explain best I can. I look it up online and try to figure out why I got it. All the stuff I’m seeing online doesn’t sound like my foot. I tell my dad this and he finds it odd but really thinks I should try to do the exercises a couple more days. So I do. And it continues to go downhill from there. It’s becoming hard to focus in school. And the crutches are giving me a rash on my sides and sore arms. I’m sick of them, but now when I try to place my foot down, it brings automatic tears. Time to go back to the doctor.

Little did I know then, I’d be getting pretty sick of doctors. In the grand scheme of things this was a very small step towards getting my life back. I didn’t know I was losing my life. I wish I’d paid me attention. I wish I’d been like a baby and sucked up those months like a sponge. I probably figured I wouldn’t want to remember and that it’d pass and be not that big of a deal. Oh how wrong I was. This doctor I was on my way to see was going to be wrong too, but back then I still had faith in doctors.

Pediatricians, sure for the common ear infection or stomach virus they’re great to comfort parents. They’ll prescribe antibiotics and have X-rays taken. When you don’t have a broken bone or something fixed with antibiotics they fall to pieces. So I go back to the pediatrician. They are just frustrated and not trying hard enough. They decide to send me into formal PT. This is the best move they ever made. The PT was amazing she changed my life. The pediatrician also gets me set up with a foot doctor (podiatrist). I go home. In more pain they I have ever experienced. Mind you, I was supposed to be in school during all this. I don’t remember much of school in the first stages of seeing doctors. I’ll get to more of the school hell later…

My first physical therapy appointment got me really excited. I was told that I’d be going into pool therapy because my pain was so severe and I couldn’t weight bare. I am a swim-aholic. My friends and family often have called me a fish or mermaid. At this time I don’t realize that having to be in pool therapy is bad. I also don’t realize how long I will be in it, how much I will grow to hate it and what really is going on. Also at this appointment is the first time a hear a three letter acronym which will eventually rule my life. I have no idea what it is. It’s said in passing and she doesn’t go into detail or make it seem like a big deal. She notes, that it’s good I’m here and that they will be making sure it’s not RSD, or something to that effect.
She was so concerned at its temperature, she sent me to the ER. I was terrified. I was also, slowing wearing out.

Also I have some quotes for you! This is exciting! I’m going to pick out some everyday. But the post was so long orginally that... it got cut off so they're on the next post.

I Keep Meaning To...

Numerous things I keep meaning to do or talk about. I haven't kept up with my quotes. tisk tisk. I really need to get out there and find some good quotes. I really do. I'm going to do that right now. In fact. But first I'll write some more...so I don't lose my train of thought.

I've also been meaning to post pieces of my "autobiography" it's not done. And I hardly ever work on it. It's hard for me to write. I can't remember every detail of this hellish journey I've been on for the past 3 years. Well nearly... but I love writing and I think it's a story that needs to be told. I hope it will inspire someone. Someday. I wish my words would inspire... I want a "rsdfghtrgrl's word of the day" in A.'s blog, but she hasn't added that. I'll get her to...somehow. So anyways, I am also going to post the beginning (of my autobio) of that for you all.

Also. I'm doing this project in a class where we care for electronic babies. Yea, it's very strange and evidently these things are very realistic. Well today my friends and I came up with the two names. (one boy one girl) Alissa for a girl or Lucas for a boy. I mean I wasn't planning on getting very into this at all, but heck why not, I'm taking the class afterall. I mean it's more for my future in my career than anything but the childcare knowledge is also good. Oh wow I have major writing cravings right now. Wowza. I really do like I have this urge to write. So I think I will. I will I will. I should be studying. I'm not though. I need to write right now. So I'm going to go and post some quotes and autobiography laterrrr.

love!
oh why a fish...? I don't know... cuz I like him. He glows.

Inspire. Initiate. Intimidate.

I've been inspired. Not to change my font size and style...but I did that too... I've been inspired by my A. love and woooo it's a doozy!!

She's so right and I'm calling myself out on this... I'm so ignorant and careless and HYPOCRITICAL. I really am. I just complain and complain about things when other people have it much worse. Sometimes people bring this to my attention in a not so kind way. A. did not do this. She was just blogging. She doesn't even know it affected me this way. It's okay, I'm glad it did. I take so much for granted it's not even funny. I have food! I have shelter. I have family and friends. Life is "rough" for everyone in some way. Mine seems really rough because of things that are happening but to others different things seem rough. When something happens that you'd never imagine it changes things. I'm glad I've changed but I'd like to change more. This is weird because I'm terrified of change. I mean not terrified...but it's hard for me. I get scared easily. But I want to become a better person. I want to have an affect on the world. I don't care if I'm remembered but I want to make a difference. Seeing that in her list of things that affect people that make them realize how selfish they are was RSD it just made me think wow she's so right. I mean I always try to throw in there I'm sorry I complain...it's brought good things too. But I'm sure that not what sticks in your head. It's all the funny things or big deep thoughts that stick with you. I'm sorry, I want to leave you with happy things. This blog is just me...trying to find myself. I say it's me fighting RSD but really it's me fighting to find who I am. I hope you don't mind me being totally selfish and just going on and on but it's my way of figuring things out...I guess in a way. But yes. I need to get out there, everyone does, and make changes. I want to do stuff to do with RSD but that's because it's what I know. It's hard to say and sad, but it's my life. I've been living it for nearly three years now. Even if I go into remission I am going to be fighting RSD, for everyone because it's a cause worth fighting for. I mean I know there are others. I am acknowledging that it may be selfish and that I think too much about myself... it's human nature I think. It's how Americans are. It's so sad. And one reason to tell you the truth not so "proud" to be American. I mean I'm not like I hate the USA...but it's not as good as it wants everyone to think. "It" brags a lot. It shouldn't, we have our issues. One being: SELFISHNESS.

So yes. I am aiming to become a better self or at least become more aware... so when I just ramble about me and my issues, I'm sorry. I reckonize that my life is good. That I shouldn't be complaining. I feel so guilty, I mean geesh. But...I have to get it out. It's no excuse but that's the truth.

Get out there and inspire people...don't go searching for inspiration...that comes when it wants but find a way to inspire something else. Initiate something, do something, be a leader. Don't be a follower. Don't let society ruin you! (Woa...transcendentalist much?! ah! we're studying that...) But it's true. You decide your destiny. even when you're down you are strong. I mean I honestly don't feel strong very often. I mean sure high pain tolerance blah blah blah but I'm weak. But confidence is key. Don't let other bring you down. Intimidate and conquer those people who are trying to stop you...including yourself.

Wow, I'm Miss Advice today. Honestly though I'm terrified...and avoiding homework. I'm so so stressed and so done with school. I just don't have the drive...like it's sad but true... I wish I did it'd help. But the pain is kinda taking over and I'm trying to keep the fake smiles and not let people see it, because I like pretending I'm strong, but really wow I'm a mess. But I try. Just trying, not following and flailing around on your own, even if it's not doing much of anything at least it's you not the reflection of someone else.

Blog You Later...actually...probably. I'm woooo high energy with nothing to do but what I don't want to... yipee. -_-

love

But I'll survive perhaps. Before then I have work to get done, even though I did a considerable amount today I still do. But right now I just need some snuggy warm clothing and blankies. A Quote---And not Much Else

I wanted to blog...because I saw a quote and was like wow this needs to go in my blog! But really I'm not in a bloggy mood. I shall just give you a quote for thought...it came from MH who took it from CG and I belive Andrew McMahon said it...have no clue who that is but it's a good quote!

"The whole world, myself included, seem to have one thing in common: We're just a crowd of people who don't really fit in anywhere, attempting to convince one another that we do."

Spilkeys

I like this word. I think A. should have it as an honorary word in her blog. OH WOW IDEA. She could have a R.'s word section in her blog. She writes about the word of the day but then i give her a word each day as well. Some random word. I am a random girl. I think this is genius! I will have to discuss this with her... hmmm. But anyways. Having the spilkeys is not okay. It's like the biggest tummy butterflies. I learned this from a teacher's aide when i was in kindergarten and have never forgotten it. I loved that aide, I think she moved to Trinidad and Tabago though... too bad. She was awesome. She was with us all through elementary. Anyway enough reminiscing even though I don't want to snap back to reality. I have the spilkeys. why? They called. Boston called. I'm making the trek down there for an evaluation. Oh gosh. Now that it's no longer just in theory I should but it's actually going to happen. I am a little more than freaked. It's very not okay. =[

"Wow, Who knew things could get this crazy"

Well someone had a status which read this and it makes me go I DID I DID I DID. Life is so weird lately. it's a mixture of pretty damn funny, pretty damn messed up and pretty damn scary. Excuse the damns but I'm making a point...

But anyways. Boston. Is slow and they need to call back. We called no answer. How helpful. I'm dying waiting for the phone eval. once I actually get an appointment I'm going to be a mess. I mean...I'm always a mess. I am kinda like wooo crazy, cuckoo, all over the place. Whatever pops into my head comes out...it's a very complex lifestyle...

but anywho besides frightening pondering about treatment not mucht o say...just kinda be bopping along today. I punched N. today it was very refreshing, he so deserved it. Evidently CT. did too. This makes me happy. Have a free pd. tomorrow with him so we'll see how that goes haha. my friends are insane. I love them. But oh wow. Just like little kids...they say the darndest things!

And I'm off!!!

High Blood Pressure DUMB BOYS

Well today i went to the doc to get some meds. fixed and my blood pressure was high. You know why?! cuz i dind't want to be there. What else makes it high?! BOYS. Casey is always saying "boys." As in. Dumb dumb dumb. It's a generalization I'm sorry. But the ones in our lives...amaze us with their dumbness...often. Well not so much dumbness. Immaturity. I mean I'm taking a child dev. class and I know it's not there fault but sometimes you just need to chill. It's hard but they should try. Especially when they know a girl is in a bad mood or had a rough day. I am going to try to make my son(s) if I ever have any into more caring individuals. It is possible to do that. The problem is when boys are little they are told "not to feel" it's not "manly" it's not what big boys do. I mean I'm not saying I want a "wimpy" child but bettering understanding feelings would help guys in relationships. I don't want my son to be a jerk to his gf. I don't want him to say hurtful things without realizing...or with realizing. If I ever even have a son or kids in general...just an example.

A rough day filled with things that make you cry is not helped by a guy being insensitive is my case and point. the day started off with guess what. PAIN. And then I had to go to the doctors so that stressed me out. good news from the doctors though. New meds for anxiety and also she recommends Boston and said she'd call for a referral. the day was SO LONG and excruciating but I survived. I tried to keep the mood light and so I'd improve. and then I have a dumb kid arguing and irritating me every chance he can. N., nonetheless. -_-

But the doctor called us and said she reached Boston. the thing is, we missed that call and were supposed to call back when we got the voicemail. But it was too late, they were gone by the time we got it. Now we have to wait till tomorrow.

Ugh. I'm scared scared scared. I don't want to go far away and be tortured. =\

But I came up with the idea that my friends will send me with good luck charms when I go for my eval. and so maybe then I'll get accepted and not have a choice. Then there will be a plan. Plans help me. I want the plan to be not wait till summer...but I have to fight for that...my Dad thinks otherwise. I want to get it over with. I want RSD to stop ruining my life asap. If it means taking extra classes before I go... I WILL. I want normalcy!!!! ='[

The quote from A.'s blog because it's happy. A. makes me very very happy. She's my bestest friend in the wide world. LOVE LOVE LOVE. And cookies?! "Joy suffused through the classroom and each student picked up a ginger bread cookie." I like ginger bread cookies... and snicker doodles... and chocolate chip cookies... and oatmeal cookies... and sugar cookies... and triple chocolate chunk cookies... and those cookies with all the little m & m's in them those are good... but not really cookies with nuts... unless there macadamia nuts... or pecans... those are good or even walnuts... and I'll eat peanut butter cookies... cookies are good what can I say."

Blog ya l8r everyone. I need sleep.

Owie!!!!!!!!!!!! Cows...

Kla, N. and I had this huge comment fight on a picture on facebook (of CATTLE). It livened my spirits. But otherwise. Not good at all. So much pain. Not to much to blog about except that I'm like slowly slipping away. yipee. yipee. catch ya l8r.

Gut? Oder.... Schlect Montag

Is it going to be a good day or a bad day. I'm thinking not too bad. There are remnants of a hurricane about so my foot is not in a very good mood. I think I'm going to put my TENS on and somehow tough it out. I'm sad though... A. isn't coming to school today =[ If she reads this before I talk to her HIIIIII I MISS YOU FEEL BETTER. Monday's are always rough and having to face one without her is not going to be fun. I have to turn in a project the last period of the day today...so I need to go. I also have lots of tests reviews and homework to pass in. Tomorrow will be better. But at least I have orchestra. Today's quote : "Music is the best medicine." I say it often. Music is so diverse it's like a human...it's made by humans but it has a life of it's own. Everyone can find a style of music that makes them happy...or at least feel better. For me it's loud screaming, painful songs or meaningful smooth songs. CT and I want to play a piece of the Four Season's by Vivaldi in orchestra. I think I'm going to see what my teacher has to say about that. it would be really fun. Oh I love orchetra and it's people and the music and playing violin.

As far as the treatment thing...I'm still terrified and in the dark. I've been bringing it up with my dad...but it's hard because I know it's going to be hard to organize and pay for. I feel so bad but I just want the chance to get better. I want the chance to be the best I can be and make a difference.

Monster

I'm such a lazy blogger. When a lot is going on lately I just don't have the energy or desire to blog. I'm sorry and for that I give you a super dee duper long quote. Well...not a quote. It's my poem I wrote in 2 years ago for a contest. It got published =]

Mosnter Beneath the Surface

It started with a little,
and peaked to a lot,
pain,
that never stops.

I never thought three letters
would be so important to me.
Until I learned of RSD,
that dystrophy

Nerves scream,
It seems so unreal
How am I to deal?

You don’t understand,
the monster that hides,
inside
Ever so well, does that monster dwell
and wreak havoc on me

There are people worse than me
but how can that be
when it hurts so bad
the pain of RSD.

Why did I post this today? Well the title is Monster for today's blog for a number of reasons. One being I was going to post the poem. I posted the poem because I'm finally ready to tackle this monster. I finally did what I need to do. I talked to my dad about going to Boston for treatment. Don't get me wrong I'm scared as hell and don't really know if it's all worth it, but maybe it's worth a shot. Normalcy. I can't even imagine it. I want it. Just for a little while. I want to do stuff without thinking about the pain consequences to follow!

Also this is titled monster because you should visit this fun website A. introduce me to. It may seem kiddish...well it is. It's very much a children's site but that's okay. Everyone should harness their inner child. It's called Moshi Monsters. I suggest you go there and create a monster. Use this link...(it will help me in the game if you sign up using this link) http://www.moshimonsters.com/monsters/maren

You'll have fun guys! you don't have to admit it...but you will!!!

And that's all for now. I have tons of homework to do!

Just Fighting My Way...

Sorry I'm a lazy blogger. Too many yuckies. Foot ist nicht gut. Been trying to decide things and get settled into this year and what's happening with A. and things happening with others friends, it's all very AH. I'm trying though. Fighting as always. Today's quote was said by J. and it made me smile, really really big, so thank you J. ...not that you currently read this...but perhaps u shall sometime.

"hey, you say it all the time, you're a fighter, i'm sure you can fight your way out of this."

I'm not so sure about anything right now... besides that... I'm sleepy and my foot is freezing and killing me and I wanna read and snuggle up to Buddy, my RSD teddy. he's so cute. he's a white teddy bear that has on a little T0shirt which says I <3>. and has an RSD ribbon on it. =] And he has a red ribbon around his next. So adorable. Makes my RSD sad-ees a little bit besser. hmmm.

night night. blog tomorrow maybe...? Going to football game with A. =]

No. It's Not Okay. I love Her.

No. It's not fair. Nothing is okay. My friend AB has to go back into RSD treatment. She's so amazing and alone. I wish I could be with her. It's a hellish treatment. You toture the RSD out of you, literally. And it's what I should do. But I can't make myself do it. And I don't want her to have to go. She shouldn't have to go. We need to be together. We're like the same. I love her so much. She understands. She UNDERSTANDS. I'm not alone. I need to be with her. I need treatment.

I am so scared. I am so terrified. I feel so alone. I don't know. What do I do!!!???

3...2...1 and Away She Goes

Evidently I have readers. I mean I assumed some people read this... or I kind of hoped...but knowing that people read it is weird. Well hello to all you out there chances are I love you and if i don't know you...well hello... thanks for reading? Anyways I could rant on and on and rant this evening and I probably will. So I will give you the quote first. It's my current most favorite quote =]

It comes from One Tree Hill:

"Life kicks you around sometimes. It scares you and it beats you up.But there's one day when you realize you're not just a survivor. You're a fighter. You're tougher than anything life throws your way. And you are."

this is so true. And is the start to my first rant/vent. Why do you people read this?! It's like me just rambling on about nothingness to make myself feel better. Sure I talk about my friends sometimes but you all know I love you! Anywho. I am a fighter. I fight and I fight and it's never enough. I'm always alone and people don't get it. I have my RSD buddies but they are far and I can't be with them. My world doesn't make sense to anyone but them...so I feel so alone and just remember that when I rant about other things...that's it's the normal stuff plus a whole bunch of crap built in. I don't always say and this caused pain. I mean infer it. Pain everyday...any stress worsens it. Usually by the time I blog I'm not moving very fast.

Indeed this evening I am not moving fast. I hate an argument over music. I hate arguments over opinions. I mean I love voicing my opinion but I feel like people need to accept difference in opinion and not dwell and make a big deal. I wear band tees of bands I like...bands others may not know or like. The people which make up these bands are usually over 40. I'm sorry if that's a problem people! They have good music. I like music from the 70s and 80s it shouldn't be a big deal. Feel free to ask about my bands but don't say "Oh they must be old." or "Are they dead?!" I don't appreciate it. Dead or alive it doesn't matter the music lives on and I like it. Also if you haven't heard of them or are unfamiliar with the style of music DON'T PASS JUDGEMENT. Or at least not out loud to me. It pisses me off. "To each his own bad taste." Don't tell me I have bad taste. We don't share the same taste it doesn't make one of ours bad! I think mine's good you think yours is good. I don't go around insulting and nit picking at the music I view as "terrible" which all my friends listen to. Sometimes I do joking around but I MOVE ON. MOVE ON PEOPLE. It's my music I'm not forcing it upon you but I LOVE IT. Respect that and don't argue with me...don't make me have to prove you wrong. Because I will... and it puts me in pain. THANK YOU.

On to the next... I'm really like WOW just WOW this evening. Too many people making me emotionally distraught... for one thing... I may blog about people I like... bad idea I've realized. don't ask and don't assume you know. It doesn't matter. And I just may not blog about them or use initials at all anymore. I want to but I may not...because I don't need extra drama and riducle because of my blog when I love blogging!

Also. People. Don't think you know me. I mean yes my friends know me, but don't judge me unless you have thought long and hard and can back it up. Judgementalness is human nature. I admit I do it, but I will stand up for myself... if I have the energy. DOn't assume because I'm smart and look like an easy target that I'm going to take crap. I have canes and crutches and am not afraid to hit people over the head if necessary. Keep in mind there's always one with me whether you see it or not (fold able and very handy and puuurdy). So... just don't. I mean I love debates and I don't want my friends to be identical to me. I welcome diversity but don't nitpick...because I'm usually not in a good mood during school. Pain doesn't bring out the best in people. I'm not trying to make excuses. Maybe I'm just a bitch. Either way. Don't.

I don't think I need to vent anymore I feel ranted out...this is good. but now of course I'm thinking about bigger more important things. See that's the thing people get caught up in their problems as I do mine. And then I get jealous or angry because I feel like their problems aren't as big. This isn't true and I'm sorry, it all depends on your situation as to how big of a deal something is. Just remember... I'm forever fighting...
That means it's never going away.

On ya! Happy note! I met this guy who is amazing. I mean as a person not that I'm like "in love" or attracted in any way. Well I mean he's really awesome but I don't become "in like" with people easily to be honest. High school relationships and ways of teenagers baffle me and seem so stupid. Not meaning I'm against them...but kinda. But anywho. He lives far. But I'm just glad I met him. He has a friend with RSD so that's cool. He's so understanding and just a very cool kid. I mean he's like a typical guy plus RSD knowledge! It doesn't get better than that. haha. So if he ever reads this. Thanks JL, glad I found you (trusty old facebook) if not well, just a little tribute. Haha cuz' I'm cool like that...

OH. AND. My master of puppets shirt came !!! :D

Bye now!

Windowish

I feel windowish. In other words not so invincible. Windows aren't invincible, they break. Right now I feel broken. I feel so torn. It's because I watched a video... about my friend, I've seen it before but every time I watch it...it makes me befuddled. It's about her RSD journey and her agonizing treatment which put her in remission for a while. I just can't wrap my mind around going into treatment. I've had to accept that there is no help for so long that I'm reluctant to go and get help. There's so many reasons not to go. But then again there are good reasons to go.

Pros:

  • possible remission.
  • that means NORMALCY and getting to not count spoons for a while

Cons:

  • money
  • time--I can't go to school and be in treatment...it's like impossible...
  • fear
  • might not work
  • distance

I just don't know. I mean I want to get better...but there is no cure for RSD. So it's just...maybe, for a while and I can't decide if it's worth it. In order for it to be a possibility I'll have to go through hell and lots of my parent's money and I just don't know if I can handle it. I'm so torn I really am terrified and don't know what to do. i wish there was an easy answer...but there never seems to be an easy answer...

PS: I miss my RSD buddies SOOOO much and wish I could be with them. Soon. Even if it's not for long. Just to hug them.

Say Yes to the Dress--- No.

It's a show but in this case I don't mean wedding dresses. Homecoming ones of course. A. got her's today. We went to a mall in a few towns over which we'd never been to. it was awesome. My dress also came in the mail. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Homecoming is going to be a blast. I like going with friends and just being crazy. I'd also like to have a date some year... or at least dance with a guy... haha. Yea well I said a quote in reference to guys today and it's now the quote of the day "The worst thing that can happen is "no" and that's only a two letter word."

Oh so true. Oh so happy still.
I may start talking to one of CT's friends who share's a name with A's brother. haha. Which is weird. He also plays hockey...as does CH's bf. It's strange so far it seems as though he's combo of a bunch of guys I know. Weird. I wanna talk to him more though. He seems cool. And if nothing more new friends are good.

Fab-u-lous

"Life's what you make it..."

That's the quote. I am making my life happy these past 2 days. I mean sure last night I felt a little melancholy. But melancholy is a cool word so it's okay... speaking of words check out A.'s blog! She got a blog! It's all about words! I love her and her words. She makes me very happy. A lot of people in my life make me happy. I'm feeling very confident and happy as who I am. There's things I could get down about but for right this second I'm not. No promises...that tomorrow won't be worse but I'm a fighter. I'll deal with what comes. I'll enjoy the good parts! I'll make my life. FABULOUS. Especially with my outfit for school pics. it's...ummm... FIERCE. haha. yea...been watching ANTM. Ah well. Today was good. School I'm managing. The fact that my English teacher's daughter has RSD I think is like what some people would call a miracle. it's so incredibly amazing. So is N. He is a great friend and as insane as I get he's just kinda there being himself. Worry about him and his sillyness keeps me from going absolutely insane I think. I'm not sure though...maybe I am. Do insane people know they're insane? I am curious about that...hmmm. Pain has made me feel insane before like I seriously have a problem. Well...I do but...anyways. It's scary. But this is an ah-mazing feeling i have. I AM BEING PUBLISHED. It gives me goosebumps. I'm making a difference. YAY YAY YAY.

blog ya tomorrow loves! ♥♥♥

So much happy, bouncy, awesome energy right now. I never feel like this. I can't remember when I last felt like this. It's just. Happy. Not worried. Not scared. Not alone. I'm like normal for 5 seconds. All the bad stuff doesn't matter and it's AH MAZE ING.

Strange Ways vs Simplicity

Well I think life works in strange ways. Strange unexplainable and frustrating things happen. Some may use religion as a way to explain but I'm not going to discuss that. A. says two things never to be discussed are religion and politics. And I think she's deff. right. Anywho... life doesn't make since at all most of the time.

I am a sick person. Like I mean I'm healthy...for the most part but I live the life of a diseased person. It just doesn't seem fair. It came out of the blue. It's made me realize so much and I think maybe that's why it happened, but it stills makes me cry. That's why I'm blogging...just kinda upset-ish. There is school tomorrow, that's probably why. Going to school makes me face the fact that I'm not "normal" and not who I hoped I'd be. Things aren't the way I planned. I mean that'd be fine. Most things don't end up how we plan. But I mean this is a huge fork in the road...haha well spoon in the road in my case. I just find it so hard to deal. I know lots of people who aren't effected by disease can't understand and that makes it harder. They think that by now I should be over it. I think I should be too. I fight and I try to be normal...but it's all a little much. i just can't help but think what if. What if it never happened. And It makes me cry. That's awful...because there is no turning back time. I can only move forward. Someday I hope to find remission and maybe...because strange things happen...a cure. People are fighting for it...so maybe that makes it not so strange. I know I want it. I mean RSD has made me a better person but it's also very hard for a young girl trying to survive high school.

High school. You shouldn't need to be in a relationship. I fully believe that. Then why do I want one so much?! It's so stupid. It really is. I just wish I could have someone there to make things better. To hug me. To hold me when I'm crying and just make the world seem less scary. But I'm only in high school...so. haha. Ya right. I just wish. I wish that once you find a person you think is perfect they give you a fair shot no matter what. Life doesn't work that way because it's strange. Things can't be simple. I used to say it'd be boring any other way. But these days I kinda wish for hints of simplicity

Helloween

Today's title summarizes everything I'm going to talk about. I find it very clever. ;-]

As for the quote, "Miracles happen once in a while, when you believe." You see I don't really believe in "mircales" I mean I believe that amazing stuff can happen. But there has to be a reason. Oh when you can't find a reason...you're not loooking hard enough. I mean yes, stuff happens that's unexplainable but I'm not sure I think of these things as miracles. Why this quote? Well it has to do with Halloween. My sick-a-versary (the day my symptoms began) was at a hunted hay ride...as some of you may know from my autobiography...which I can't remember if I've started posting here since I reopened my blog... I'll figure it out. Either way, you'll see. But anyways. I think I'm going to see if we can go back to the haunted hay ride this year. I want to face it. I may break down crying being back there. But I think maybe if I do it... I'll feel better. Like some sort of explainable thing will stop things where they started... and if not I'll have fun. Maybe...
Also last night I was planning my Halloween costume. I don't trick or treat... I've never found it amusing. But the dressing up is fun =] I'm being Gene Simmons...yes the lead singer of KISS. This got me on a huge Ebay addiction spurt...in other words I was on ebay for hours finding KISS memorabilia and other things I want. haha yea...I'm special.

Why the unique spelling? No I don't suck at spelling that much! Evidently that is the name of a German hair metal band. And that's perfect. I LOVE LOVE LOVE hair metal. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE German. Speaking of German, I'm not sure I'm going to like my teacher this year. I mean he seems like he'll teach us things but don't think he'll ever live up to my teacher from last year. I can't wait to go to Gemany with her next year!!! Anywho... I'm offf to work on writing and rock out to some music.

Love to all.

The bus metaphor is what I live by and it could come in handy to anyone. All you have to do is remember you're the bus driver of this huge bus AKA your life. The bus is whatever you make it and the passengers behave how you make them. The ones you want off...can always be pushed back when they won't kindly leave.
